STTAC staff had the opportunity to attend the 33rd annual Chemung County Youth Bureau Awards Ceremony last night, at the Big Flats Community Center. STTAC's youth component, Reality Check of Chemung, Schuyler, & Steuben was nominated for the ceremony's Program Excellence Award this year. The award recognizes the efforts of local youth programs and events. Although Reality Check did not win, they did receive a certificate of recognition, and were honored just to be nominated, and attend the event. We are also happy to say, one of our very own coalition members, Barb VanDine, was the winner of the prestigious Daniel J. Donahoe Award from last night. This award was established in 1984, and recognizes an adult individual for their exceptional contributions to our local youth and families.
